7th National Forensic Science Symposium for Law Enforcement (NAFSLE) 2026
Xspec Technology successfully drove the 7th NAFSLE 2026 exhibition at Maktab Polis PDRM KL, uniting law enforcement and forensic experts under the theme of AI innovation.
Held on 17–18 September 2026 at the Royal Malaysia Police College (Maktab Polis Diraja Malaysia), Kuala Lumpur, the symposium was officially opened by Tan Sri Dato' Seri Hj. Mohd Khalid Hj. Ismail, Inspector-General of Police (IGP), and brought together 300–500 participants from the Malaysian Police and invited law enforcement agencies from across the country — organized under the Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM), DNA Databank Division (D13) under Criminal Investigation Department (CID.
In his address, the IGP emphasized that NAFSLE is a vital platform for strengthening PDRM's capabilities through the exchange of expertise and the latest developments in forensic science — while stressing that technological advancement must go hand in hand with integrity and ethical conduct in the line of duty.
The event also featured the presentation of the DNA Hit of the Year 2026 awards, recognizing investigating officers' dedication in leveraging DNA evidence to strengthen criminal investigations:
